Clear information on costs

We know that the financial cost of care is a huge concern for clients and their families. We aim to give clear information to you regarding our charges, the weekly cost of your care package, and anything that maybe a variable charge such as mileage. There are no hidden extra’s.

Depending on your financial circumstances there may be some help towards your care costs. The reality is that most people need to make some sort of weekly contribution to their care (unlike healthcare from the NHS). This will require a financial assessment from the local authority and can be a long process to organise and set up. Contact us for more information.

Requesting an assessment

We can support you in requesting an assessment from your local authority social services to see if you are entitled to help with care costs.

Equipment loans

There are some areas that are not means tested and therefore do not attract a charge. This could be the loan of some types of equipment such as a bath seat or adaptions such as grab rails fitted.

Direct payment

Many families choose the option of “direct payment” to help fund their care requirements. This is a card from the local authority linked to a bank account for care.
